Using AI to make a bridge between Science and Art

Non classé

The fascinating objective to connect Science and Art under the project “Enhancer in Art” has made registered some good progress on my side.
I had the pleasure to meet Alessandro, the artist who will accompany me during this ambitious project.

First: let me introduce you to Alessandro!
Since he was a child, his passions are the photography and the informatic. He used to spend time observing the pictures he found in photography books. His favorites were especially those concerning natural landscapes. He used to stare at them and imagine himself carrying inside!

Thus, over time he cultivated his passions, getting his first degree in “Photography” at Institut d’Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya (IEFC), followed by a Master’s degree in “Film editor” at Escola Superior de Cinema Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) in Barcelona.

Nowadays the digital art is having an explosion of notoriety. Our project idea comes from trying to mix photography, paintings, research, images of the results of experiments, our passions, and our jobs. More precisely, the artificial intelligence (AI) used today in all fields from photography to software programming in scientific research.

This project, I hope, will be a great opportunity for us young researchers to “communicate” our work, making it easier and closer to the general public in an innovative way.

I look forward to continue working with Alessandro, full of expectations for the final result.

So, for upcoming updates, STAY TUNED!
